The title of the core program of steirischer herbst ’19 is Grand Hotel Abyss—a striking metaphor used by philosopher Georg Lukács to describe the European intellectual and cultural scene as it faced the approach of fascism.

Get you Festival Pass and Guidebook now

The Festival Pass can be purchased online and at the Visitor and Press Center of steirischer herbst (Kaiser-Josef-Platz 4, 8010 Graz). The newly published Guidebook, including a map of the festival, is also available there. A copy of the Guidebook is included in the price of the Festival Pass.
